Inatur Product Review
Hey guys! Welcome back to the blog.
As you all know, I attended the Inatur Blogger’s Meet on 25th of November 2017 and I received a gift hamper full of Inatur products. As mentioned in my previous blog post (you can check it here), I am writing a review of all the products that I received in the hamper. I have used these products for almost a month now and I’m going to give an honest opinion about all of them.
1. Inatur Honey Sheet Mask:
Most of us are familiar with the concept of a sheet mask. For those of you who aren’t, sheet masks are face-shaped sheet fabrics soaked in serum. This Honey sheet mask by Inatur claims to reduce dryness, rashes, skin-peeling and flakiness. It also claims to help reduce sunburn and it can be used for sensitive skin as well.
The mask is made of honey which is very moisturising. It’s 100% natural and chemical-free. However, it has a very strong scent of perfume in it which caused a burning sensation in my eyes after applying. My eyes wouldn’t stop tearing but after 5-7 minutes, it seemed alright. The serum in the mask was a little sticky which was okay considering it had honey in it. I used this at night before going to bed and I did feel fresh after removing it but since I have combination skin, I don’t like my face sticky and greasy before sleeping. Overall, my experience was not bad but I wouldn’t repurchase this product.
2. Inatur Olive Cleansing Milk:
This is a cleansing lotion that you apply to remove makeup or excess dirt from your skin. It contains olive which helps in moisturising, chamomile which soothes and calms the skin, geranium oil which is anti ageing, honey unclogs pores and lavender to tone and firm your skin. It is a cream-based cleanser that you directly massage onto your skin and remove using a cotton pad.
I used it to remove a full face of makeup and it took me about 5 minutes only to melt the makeup. It takes time to melt your makeup but it does it’s job well, provided you have a little patience. This cleanser has a weird scent to it but that’s common with most herbal products. Do not use it to remove your eye makeup because it’ll burn your eyes really bad.
Overall, it’s a good product but I wouldn’t repurchase it. I would like to play my “combination skin” card again because this is a cream based cleanser and I would prefer to use a water based cleanser.
3. Inatur Charcoal Facial Foam:
Activated charcoal is very good for our skin. It cleans your pores and reduces acne. It has herbs like Anise that heals and adds glow to skin, Lemon that has antiseptic and astringent qualities, Basil prevents acne, pimples, skin infections and controls sebum, Neem that has anti-bacterial properties for clearer skin & Peppermint that has a cooling & calming effect on skin.
This is a foam based cleanser and has a pump dispenser which I really like. It cleanses your skin removing all the dirt and impurities in just one pump. It gives a nice glow to my skin after every wash and it doesn’t dry out my skin at all. My face feels soft and supple after every use and I would definitely repurchase it.
4. Inatur Foot Spray:
Inatur Foot spray claims to absorb excess moisture, remove dead skin, reduce the growth of fungus and help your feet to remain cool and dry with a deodorizing effect. It contains Chamomile Oil that calms down skin irritation, repairs and regenerates skin cells, Frankincense Oil that heals and protects the skin, eliminates germs, Lavender Oil that has anti-fungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and Peppermint Oil that helps to alleviates stress and pain.
I use this foot spray after getting home and it keeps my feet fresh and moisturised. I also spray it in my shoes after every use because it has deodorizing properties. Overall, it’s a good product to have on the go, especially for people engaged in sports who tend to have sore and stinky feet.
5. Inatur Argan Lip Balm:
Lip balms are a must-have for me. I tend to hoard lip balms and I love to try out new ones.
This lipbalm by Inatur has argan oil in it which helps relieve cracked lips and is extremely moisturising. This lip balm is moisturising but it was a little difficult to get the product out of the container at first because it is a tad bit hard as it has candelilla wax in it. Also, it takes time to melt while applying and I had some residue on my fingertips. Of course, it smells weird considering the organic factor of it and it tatstes a little weird. It’s a good lip balm altogether but I wouldn’t repurchase it. I’ve tried all kinds of lip balms right from drug-store to high-end but this one doesnt seem worth spending INR250.
6. Inatur Moisturising Hand Sanitizer:
Hand sanitizers are my best-friend. I always carry a sanitizer with me because I’m hygiene-conscious and I’m very particular when it comes to cleanliness.
This sanitizer has a sweet floral scent to it and claims to kill 99% of germs. It has glycerin which helps to moisturize your hands while keeping them sanitary. I would repurchase this product.
7. Inatur Lavender Hydrosol Floral Water:
Hydrosol refers to floral water that has therapeutic properties of essential oils but in a lesser concentrated form. It’s a face mist that you can spritz on to your face and instantly feel refreshed.
It has a beautiful lavender fragrance to it and it’s so relaxing. I use this after cleansing and before moisturising my face and it feels so good. It’s moisturizing and works well as a toner. It’s good for people with oily and acne-prone skin type. I spray it after applying makeup as well. Big thumbs up for this product.
